Sycamore class learnt all about where butter comes from this week. Then we had a go at making it ourselves. We put cream in a jar and then took turns shaking it until it turned into butter! We put it on crackers and tried it- we thought it was delicious.
It was all hands on deck today to help get the school garden ready for planting. We worked hard to get rid of all the stones and weeds- now we can't wait for the next step. We are going to start growing seeds in our classroom next week.
Sycamore class tried their hands at being electrical engineers yesterday at Imaginosity. We constructed electrical circuits using a battery, wires, play doh and a bulb. It was amazing. We then had lots of fun playing in the supermarket, the doctors, the restaurant and even driving a racing car!
We have had a wonderful week celebrating books and reading. We wrote book reviews, dressed up as book characters, took part in a parade, drew posters and did Shared Reading with adults. It was lots of fun - Sycamore class love books! |
